It is with profound sadness that the family announces her passing December 25, 2022 at the age of 95 years. Wife of the late Alcide Denis. Daughter of the late Alex and late Flavie (née Deslauriers) Plante. Devoted mother of Lucille (John), Cécile (Larry), Raymond (Murielle) and Robert (Marilyn). Predeceased by her son Claude. Dear sister of Hortense (late Lorenzo) and Berthe (Laurier). Predeceased by her siblings Gabrielle (late Alcide), Lucien (late Léona), Lucienne (late Arthur), Gertrude (late Rolly), Achille (late Jacqueline), Alcide (Isabelle), Laure (late Noël) and late Florence (late Lionel). Cherished grandmother of Denis (Rose), Sylvie (Stephane), Lynn (Brent), Jason (Tammy), Kevin (Sherri), Célina (Andrew), Christina (Roy) and Tyler. Great-grandmother of Joël, Janel, Chloé, Kylie, Natasha, Katie, Madison, Nicholas, Ava, Emma, Céline, Alex, Reed and Abigail. Equally missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank her special friend Henri Dufresne for his care and friendship. The family will receive family and friends to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St-Jacques Church, Hanmer. Une messe funéraire sera célébrée le vendredi 28 avril à 11h à la paroisse St-Jacques, Hanmer.
