DIONNE, Gabrielle “Gabie” (née LeBreton) 1932-2023

The family announces with sorrow her death at St. Gabriel’s Villa in Chelmsford on Thursday, November 23 at the age of 91. Daughter of the late Edmond LeBreton and Gabrielle (née Arsenault) LeBreton. Wife of the late Fernand “Fern” Dionne. Beloved mother of late Gerald (Louise Fontaine) and the late Richard. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Melanie Dionne and Richard Dionne (Janie Crepeau) and great-grandchildren Mya and Makayla. Sister of the late Marguerite Gauthier (late Gerald), the late Lilliane Gladu, Annette Lasko (late Borden), Roger (late Anita), the late Georges, Theresa Lee (late Sherman), the late Edmond “Mo” (Gisele), Simonne (Doug Chaudron), Robert “Bob” (Cecile), Frank (Dyann), Michael (Mary-Ann), Marc (Jeannine Lacasse). She will also be missed by many nephews and nieces.

Gabie was energetic and adventurous when faced with challenges during her life with her soulmate Fern. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and various crafts.

The Dionne and LeBreton families would like to thank all the nurses, PSW’s and staff at St. Gabriel’s Villa in Chelmsford. Your kindness and compassion for Gabie was unwavering.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for the summer of 2024.
