It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the age of 70 years.
Son of the late Emile and late Mary (nee McPhee) Duhamel. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Kelloway) Duhamel. Loving father of Chris and Kevin (Jen). Dear brother of Diane, Blair, Carol, Don, Glenn, Mike, John, Wayne and Shirley. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Lloyd will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone, his love and dedication to his family, being proud of his roots in Cape Breton, for his decades of service at Garson Mine, his many years of coaching junior baseball in Valley East, as well as being an avid golfer. The family would also like to thank the staff at Pioneer Manor for the terrific care and compassion they showed him and the family through his short time there. In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes there will be no visitation. A
