GERVAIS, Yvon
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the age of 86 years. Son of the late Orphir and the late Lucille (née Gravelle) Gervais. Beloved husband of Annie (née Labrie) Gervais. Loving father of Robert (Marie), André (Carrie) and Yvon Jr. (Colette). Dear brother of Berthe Jacques (late Richard) and Gaetan (Doris). Predeceased by his siblings Henri (late Edna), Georgianna Béland (Claude), Émilia Brunet (late Alfred) and Gilberte Gervais. Cherished grandfather of Dani, Joelle, Sophie and Patrick. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Yvon worked for the MTO for many years and was enjoying retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing and hunting. He will be remembered for his kind and generous nature. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, on Friday, January 5, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
