Ila was an amazing lady, with fortitude. Well respected in the business world. First at Kelly Lake Lumber, especially by Hap Baynard, then at Burkes Fuels by boss Mr. Burke and fellow employees. Being of Irish decent, did not prevent her from learning to read and write in Italian to keep connected with relatives overseas.
