It is with profound sorrow that the family of Normand “Norm” Rolland Imbeau announces his passing in Sudbury on November 15, 2023, at the age of 60 years. Son of the late Jacques and late Denaige (Paradis) Imbeau.   Loving father of Michael and Jamie-Lee, and loving stepfather of Macey and Darcie. Dear brother of Maurice, (predeceased), Peter, René, (predeceased) and Paul, all of Sudbury. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends, particularly his childhood friends Michel Dequanne Sr. and James Provincial.

Norm was a past proud member of Liuna Local 493 Labourers' Union. Known as a hard worker, he was nicknamed “a bull”.  Impressively disciplined, Norm worked out everyday regardless of where he was or how he felt.  A humble man, Norm said "I love you" and "I'm sorry" with ease. His boisterous laugh was contagious, when Norm laughed, so did you.  He was funny, witty, and always making jokes, no matter what the situation. Norm was a lifelong loyal fan of the Montreal Canadiens, inherited from his Dad.  His favourite childhood memory was watching Hockey Night in Canada with his four brothers.  Norm's goal in life was to raise educated, productive contributing members of society and he was committed to protecting his family from negative influences.  He succeeded.  The humour and fun he brought to life will be remembered and cherished by his four children and their mother.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. followed by a service at 4 p.m. in the Chapel.
