LAFOREST, Noëlla (née Ethier)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the age of 93 years. Daughter of the late Donat and late Lucienne (née Bazinet) Ethier. Beloved wife of the late Albert Laforest. Loving mother of Gabrielle Laberge (late Daniel), Lorraine Plante (Bob), Roger Laforest (Lynda Roy), Bébé Laforest, Paulette Lafortune, Normand Laforest, Diane Beauparlant (late Bernard) and Lise Lafortune (Robin). Beloved foster mother to her foster sons Donald Gervais, Terry Violette and Mark Violette. Cherished grandmother to 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Marguerite Laforest (late Harry), Roland Ethier (Jacqueline), Claudette Brisebois, Armand Ethier (late Murielle) and Suzanne Carriere (Gerry). Predeceased by other siblings: Jeannine (Léonard), Hervé, Conrad, Rachelle (late Paul) and Gérald. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, on Tuesday, January 16 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Chapel service will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 17 at 11 a.m at the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
