With the deepest of sorrow, we announce the passing of our cherished mother in Sudbury on Monday, September 19, 2022, at the age of 90 years. Mom was a beautiful soul who selflessly dedicated her whole life to her entire family. Daughter of the late Philibert and Aurore (née Lafontaine) Berthiaume. Predeceased by her husband Léo Ben Landry. Loving mother of Berthe “Betty” Blais (late Isidore), Louise Landry, Colette Landry (late Larry McHattie) and Denis (Hélène). Predeceased by her son Raymond (Sharon). Cherished grandmother of the late Marie-Lynn, Michel, Richard, Roxanne, Paul-Michel, Danielle, Wesley, Josée and Alex. Proud great-grandmother of Calvin, Christian, Gabriel, Vayla, Rosalie, Brielle, Élise, Léopold, Cammie and Benjamin. Dear sister of Jeannine (late Eric) and Simone (Maurice). Predeceased by her brother Laurent. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the staff at York Ramsey at Pioneer Manor for their unwavering care and compassion toward our mother. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, on Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
