Daughter of the late Michael and late Frances (nee Adamus) Paruch. Beloved wife of the late Gino Mei and predeceased by her infant daughter, and by her many siblings. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, their children, as well as by seven godchildren residing in Canada and the United States.

Frances married Gino in 1944 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. They had a great life travelling, cottaging, and visiting with family. A devoted member of the Catholic Woman’s League, she was very involved with St. Patrick’s Church. She enjoyed playing bridge and help in the preparation of the “Rosary’s” annually presented to each of the children celebrating their first communion from each of St. Theresa, Corpus Christi and St. Christophers Schools.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Pioneer Manor (Trillium) for their kind and compassionate care.

At Frances’ request there will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at St. Patrick’s Church, Walford Road, Sudbury at 10:30 a.m. Friends may gather at the church after 10:00 a.m. Cremation with interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Copper Cliff. A luncheon will follow the Memorial Mass in the St. Patrick’s Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Patrick’s Church will be greatly appreciated.
