MÉNARD, Jeannine (née Dugas)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the age of 96 years.
Daughter of the late Dolphise and late Ida (née Ménard) Dugas. Predeceased by her husband Yvon Ménard. Beloved companion of Clarence Shenton. Loving mother of Ronald Ménard (Rita), Suzanne Lauzon (Michel), Ginette Soulière (Gilbert), Normand Ménard (Cécile) and Danielle Viau (Gene). Dear sister of Eva Carter (late Robert). Predeceased by her siblings, Jeannette Ménard (late Robert), Jean-Guy Dugas (Gail) and Jean-Yves Dugas (Shirley). She was the cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandmother of many great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570 St-Joseph st, Hanmer, on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse.
