It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the age of 101 years. Wife of the late Wilfrid Methé, daughter of the late Télésphore and the late Euphémie (Brabant) Poulin. Loving mother of Maurice (Carmen), Normand (Gisèle), Aurel (Anne), Gisèle (Richard), Raymond (Noëlla), Cléo (Marianne), Sylvio (Carmen), Fernand (Nadine) and Roland (Carole). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is survived by her siblings Gilberte Simard (late Arthur), Maurice (Hélène), Arthur (late Marielle), Cécile Mainville (Roma), Aline Montpellier (René), Rolande Mainville (late Clément) and Pauline Chiasson (late Walter). Predeceased by her siblings Paul (late Gracia), Edmond (Doris) and Léo (Rolande). Mom was a selfless, generous, and strong pillar of support in our family. For all her years with us, her caring love was always unconditional. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive family and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, RR 15, Chelmsford, Friday, March 15, 2024 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Paroisse St-Joseph, Chelmsford. Elle manquera beaucoup à ses 22 petits-enfants, 36 arrière-petits-enfants et un arrière-arrière-petit-enfant. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses frères et soeurs Gilberte Simard (feu Arthur), Maurice (Hélène), Arthur (feue Marielle), Cécile Mainville (Roma), Aline Montpellier (René), Rolande Mainville (Clément) et Pauline Chiasson (feu Walter). Prédécédée par ses frères Paul (Gracia), Edmond (Doris) et Léo (Rolande). Maman était dévouée, généreuse et constituait un pilier de soutien dans notre famille. Durant toutes ses années avec nous, son amour bienveillant a toujours été inconditionnel. Elle va nous manquer grandement. La famille recevra famille et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE, 4691, RR 15, Chelmsford, le vendredi 15 mars 2024 de 14 h à 17 h et de 19 h à 21 h.
