POULIN, Raymond
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Monday, December 18th, 2023 at the age of 82 years. Son of the late Eugène and late Flore (née Robillard) Poulin.
Raymond is survived by his wife Sharon (née Doucette) Poulin. Loving father of Lise Brosseau (Gilles) and Lynda Lécuyer (Claude). Cherished grandfather of France (Bruce), Martin (Alexandra), Marc and Renée (Drake). Proud great-grandfather of Isabelle and Cédric. Predeceased by his brother Leon and sister Constance Jodouin (late Jack). Survived by his sisters Jacqueline (late Guy), Léonne Perry (late Ernie) and Gaëtanne Poulin. He will sadly be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Raymond worked at the Inco Mine for 30 years. He was a volunteer fireman for the Rayside Balfour Fire Department for 30 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping at Jocko Point with his family, playing bingo with the girls and having coffee with the boys at Tim’s.
Raymond’s family will be having a funeral Mass on Thursday, December 28th, 2023 at 11 a.m. The funeral will be held at the St-Agnès Church in Azilda. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Canadian Cancer Society. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca

Fils de feu Eugène Poulin et de feue Flore (née Robillard) Poulin. Raymond laisse dans le deuil sa femme Sharon (née Doucette) Poulin. Père bien-aimé de ses deux filles, Lise Brosseau (Gilles) et Lynda Lécuyer (Claude). Un grand-père adoré de France (Bruce), Martin (Alexandra), Marc et Renée (Drake). Fier arrière-grand-père d’Isabelle et Cédric. Prédécédé par son frère Léon et sa sœur Constance Jodouin (feu Jack). Il laisse également dans le deuil ses sœurs Jacqueline Forest (feu Guy), Léonne Perry (feu Ernie) et Gaëtanne Poulin, ainsi que plusieurs nièces, neveux, cousin(e)s et amis.
Raymond a travaillé dans les mines INCO pour 30 ans. Il a été pompier pour le service d’incendie de Rayside Balfour pendant 30 ans. Il était un chasseur et pompier passionné. Il aimait aussi camper à Jocko Point avec sa famille, jouer au bingo avec ses copines et prendre un café avec ses amis au Tim Hortons.
La famille accueillera les amis et la famille à une messe funéraire le jeudi 28 décembre à 11 h. Cette messe aura lieu à la paroisse Ste-Agnès à Azilda. Que vos témoignages de condoléances se traduisent en dons à la Société canadienne du cancer. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
