RHYNO, William Edward « Eddy »

It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of 59 years to Armande (née Beland) Rhyno. Loving father of Melanie Rhyno and Sheryl Vincent (Troy). Cherished grandfather of Cort, Cera and Caleb. Eddy was different things to many people. To his coworkers, he was known as ‘‘Steady Eddy’’ for his strong work ethic. To his friends, he was known as true and loyal, ready to lend a helping hand at the drop of a hat. But most importantly, to his family, he was known as Dad, Papa, Grandpa, Husband, the glue that held the family together. He took pride in his work, and many accomplishments, but his true pride and joy was his family. He was a kid at heart, and that shown through to all who saw him with his family and grandchildren. He LOVED to talk, to ANYONE, especially to brag about his ‘‘girls’’ and grandchildren. There is a quote that expresses exactly how our family feels at this time, it reads as follows ‘‘I think there will always be a piece missing from me. And although I may try to fill it with people or things, I know I will always feel that void. And maybe that’s what they mean when they say, I’ll hold a space for you. Because that space will ALWAYS be yours.’’ The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Saturday, October 7, 2023, after 1 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
