It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late Elphege and late Jeanne (née Chamberland) Vaillant. Predeceased by his companion Margaret McIlmoyle. Devoted father of Derek (Tammy), Rhéal (Lyne), Karen (Peter), Lynda (Jean-Marc), Kathryn (Richard) and Alan (Carole). Dear brother of Hector (Beverley), Valmon (Francoise), Richard (Theresa), Noëlla (Benoit) and Marcel (Naida). Predeceased by his sisters Jeanette (late Rhéal) and Francoise (Wilfred). Cherished grandfather of Michael, Kyle, Cassandra, Nicholas, Arianne, Jessica, Orrin, and Carrie. Equally missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A chapel service will follow at 1 p.m. Donations by cheque or online to the Knights of Columbus Console 3909 Lively would be appreciated. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca

Cher frère d’ Hector (Beverley), Valmon (Francoise), Richard (Theresa), Noëlla (Benoit) and Marcel (Naida). Prédécédé par ses sœurs Jeanette (feu Rhéal) et Francoise (Wilfred). Grand-père chérie Michael, Kyle, Cassandra, Nicholas, Arianne, Jessica, Orrin, and Carrie. Également regretté par ses nièces, neveux, parenté et amis. La famille recevra parentés et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE, 222 boul. Lasalle, Sudbury, le samedi 25 novembre de 11 h à 13 h. Un service à la chapelle suivra à 13 h.
