3 men dead in Mississauga, Ont., condo under 'suspicious' circumstances

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Police say three men have been found dead inside a condo unit in Mississauga, Ont., under what investigators are calling suspicious circumstances.

Peel Regional Police say they received an emergency call to a building at the corner of Burnhamthorpe Road and Confederation Parkway at 1:33 p.m. on Wednesday.

A spokeswoman for Peel police says drugs and alcohol were present at the scene, but it's not clear whether they were a factor in the deaths.

Const. Heather Cannon says a man within the unit where the bodies were discovered had contacted emergency services.

She says that man was sent to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

Police say they are waiting for a coroner to confirm the cause of death for the three victims.
