64-year-old man is third victim of Mississauga, Ont., crash, police say

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Police west of Toronto say a third person has died following a collision in Mississauga, Ont., last week.

Peel Regional Police say the 64-year-old man died in hospital on Saturday.

He was one of five people travelling in a Mercedes Benz that collided with a Honda Civic on McLaughlin Road, south of Highway 407, last Thursday.

One occupant, a 64-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Civic had three people on board and one of them — a 19-year-old woman — also died at the scene.

All of the other occupants of both vehicles were taken to hospital. Police say the investigation continues.
