Police charge 17-year-old in death of Toronto man; one man previously charged

Toronto police say a teen boy has been charged with second-degree murder in the May death of a local man.

Police say the 17-year-old, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested on Wednesday in an east-end home.

He's accused in the death of 23-year-old Daniel Boima, who was shot on the evening of May 2.

Officers previously arrested a 20-year-old Toronto man in connection with the shooting.

Police say Joshua Johnson was charged with second-degree murder in June.

Officers didn't say whether they were looking for any further suspects.
