Police charge man in fatal stabbing of neighbour in Kingston, Ont.

KINGSTON, Ont. — A man in Kingston, Ont., is facing a manslaughter charge in the December death of a neighbour.

Police say they had responded to several calls about a stabbing at a downtown rooming house.

Officers found two critically injured people.

One of them, a 59-year-old man, died from his injuries on the scene, while a 39-year-old women died in hospital.

Police say an extensive investigation found a tenant dispute behind the stabbings.

They have now charged a 47-year-old man with manslaughter and other offences..
