TORONTO — Police are investigating after officers found two people dead in an apartment in east Toronto.
A spokesman for Toronto police says the deaths are being treated as suspicious.
Const. David Hopkinson says the homicide squad is monitoring the situation.
He says that's common in the early stages of an investigation until more is known.
Hopkinson says police do not know how the two victims died at this point.
He says officers found the bodies around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in a highrise in Scarborough.
