13 students nabbed after police search high schools

On Oct. 14 and 15, Greater Sudbury Police conducted investigations into the use and sale of controlled drugs and substances in and around several Sudbury high schools.

On Oct. 14 and 15, Greater Sudbury Police conducted investigations into the use and sale of controlled drugs and substances in and around several Sudbury high schools.

Through this investigation, a total of seven schools were visited by the police, resulting in the arrests of 13 students. Five charges were laid, and 10 students were suspended and three students were expelled from their schools due to their behaviour.

Police will continue to hold random checks on secondary schools throughout Sudbury.
