The case against a Greater Sudbury man who was arrested in December on various child pornography related charges just got a lot more disturbing.
Police allege a recently completed, detailed forensic analysis of computers and data storage devices seized from the 39-year-old man’s residence revealed not only did he possess, access and share child pornography, he was making it, too.
The man, whose name has not been released, was arrested on Dec. 7, 2016 after police executed a search warrant at his residence. At the time, Greater Sudbury Police said its cyber crime unit found computers in the man’s possession had been used to download child pornography from a file-sharing website between August and November 2016.
He was charged with five counts of possessing child pornography, four counts of accessing child pornography and two counts of sharing child pornography.
Today, after further investigation, the man was arrested again and slapped with 27 more charges.
Those charges include eight counts of making child pornography and 19 counts of voyeurism.
The man was in bail court today to answer to the charges.
