An unknown male attempted to rob Douglas Variety Confectionary; located at 74 Douglas St., on Dec. 14 at 10:30 pm.
The suspect, while brandishing a weapon, demanded that the clerk give him all the money and cigarettes. The clerk refused to comply with his demands and as a result the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as being in his early 20’s, 6’ 1” with brown eyes and was wearing a black zippered jacket with a gold dragon on it, black jeans and running shoes.
