One man was airlifted to hospital Saturday following an accident involving two ATVs.
The accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of Coal Dock Road and Belle Ray Crescent in Nairn Township (near Sand Bay Trailer Park).
One driver, a 64-year-old man from Nairn Township, was air lifted to St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Sudbury with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was charged with careless driving.
The other male driver, a 25-year-old from Lively, was not injured.
The investigation is continuing.
