Bank robbery suspects still at large

Greater Sudbury Police continue to search for two bank robbery suspects. The Bank of Montreal, situated at the corner of Main Street and Hwy. 69 N, in Val Caron, was robbed by two males at about 2:50 p.m. Jan. 22, said a release by police.

Greater Sudbury Police continue to search for two bank robbery suspects.

The Bank of Montreal, situated at the corner of Main Street and Hwy. 69 N, in Val Caron, was robbed by two males at about 2:50 p.m. Jan. 22, said a release by police.

“The two suspects who entered the bank were able to obtain an undisclosed amount of money and were last seen fleeing on foot towards the rear of the bank,” said police.

“Police have been able to obtain several still photos of the suspects and are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying them,” said the release from police.



The suspects are identified as follows:

1. a white male, 25-30 years old, 6 foot 2 inches to 6 foot 4 inches. Slim build, wearing black vest, white shirt, black hooded sweat top, aviator glasses



2. a white male, 35 years old, 5 foot 8 inches to 5 foot 10 inches, stocky build, wearing black vest, grey hooded sweat top, Oakley style sunglasses



If anyone has any information in relation to the robbery or the suspects, police are asking to call the Greater Sudbury Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
