Bicycle auction to be held Saturday

The Greater Sudbury Police Service's annual bicycle auction will be held on the morning of Saturday, June 14, rain or shine. The event will be held outdoors at the GSPS's Lionel E. Lalonde Centre, located at 239 Montee Principale Street in Azilda.

A viewing of all items will be held on Thursday, June 12 and Friday, June 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Registration for bidding, will take place on the day of the auction from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and items can also be viewed at this time. A drivers licence is required to register.

Methods of payment include cash or cheque, and all purchases must be taken away the same day.

In the past, the auction has had as many as 300-400 bikes.
