A 17-year-old boy is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, resisting arrest and breach of probation after he was found June 25 with 50 80 mg Oxycontin tablets worth about $2,500.
Greater Sudbury Police had received a drug complaint at Shoppers Drug Mart on Lasalle Boulevard at about 4:30 p.m.
When police showed up, the suspect fled. He was later arrested at the Supermall.
The suspect was due to appear in bail court June 26.
