Five businesses and two residences in the Lorne, Regent and Whittaker Street areas were subjected to vandalism by youths between 8 p.m. Friday night and Saturday morning.
The buildings were spray painted and tagged with graffiti. Among the tags used was the word “edge.”
Witnesses to the event have been located and are being interviewed, and video surveillance in the area is being reviewed to identify the persons responsible.
