Two men were arrested by Greater Sudbury Police after causing a disturbance at the Rainbow Centre Feb. 13.

A 26-year-old man was asked to leave the mall when he is reported to have shoved a security guard and was arrested. While in custody at the mall security office, the suspect continued to threaten security personnel.

The suspect was picked up by police and charged with assault, three counts of uttering threats and four counts of breach of probation. Less than an hour later, mall security dealt with a second disturbance where a 20-year-old man was asked by security to leave the mall.

The man refused and was taken into custody. Police arrived on scene and the man identified himself by giving his name and date of birth.

Local police say the identity given matched that of a man wanted by the Ontario Provincial Police for obstructing police, failure to comply with recognizance and two counts of breach of probation.
