Greater Sudbury Police responded to a robbery which occurred in the parking lot of the Garson Mall on Falconbridge Rd. June 29 at approximately 8:40 pm.
A woman had just left her business and was headed towards her car when she was approached by two teens who grabbed a leather bag she was carrying. She tried to maintain control of the bag however the suspects eventually took it from her.
The two suspects fled the scene on foot. A witness to the event followed them in his vehicle until they went into a bush area.
Accompanied by the canine unit, Police were able to track and arrest the pair. The bag and all of its contents were returned.
Two young offenders are currently in custody facing robbery charges. The woman was not injured. Police are continuing their investigation.
