One woman was sent to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a three-vehicle collision on The Kingsway near Bancroft Drive April 4 at around 1 p.m.
A vehicle had become disabled on the road, causing two other vehicles to come to a stop behind it. Another vehicle travelling behind the stopped vehicles did not brake in time, and struck the vehicle in front of it, which in turn struck the next vehicle in line.
The disabled vehicle was not struck in the accident.
The 40-year-old man who was driving the vehicle which did not stop in time was charged with careless driving.
