Laff City presents Elvira Kurt for a comedy concert under the stars in the Bell Park Grace Hartman Ampthitheatre July 18.
Gates open at 8 p.m., and the show will start at 8:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $27 and go on sale Monday at Records on Wheels Downtown Sudbury and Rock Topic in the Place de Leon on Lasalle Blvd.
Elvira Kurt is the host of Popcultured with Elvira Kurt on the Comedy Network, and is the popculture correspondent for eTalk Daily on CTV.
A Second City Alumnus, she has appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Comedy Central, Showtime, and HBO. Kurt has contributed to a CBS pilot and HBO special for Ellen DeGeneres and has written for This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
A portion of the net proceeds from this event will be shared with the Sudbury Sexual Assult Crisis Centre, Sudbury Pride, and Access AIDS Network.
