A man has been charged with several offenses after he allegedly sent a local Crown attorney and a justice of the peace disturbing phone messages and e-mails.

The messages were intended to intimidate the officials.

The suspect has been charged with three counts of criminal harassment, two counts of intimidation of a justice participant and breach of probation.

He is also charged with criminal harassment and breach of probation resulting from similar circumstances at a downtown financial institution. He was due to appear in bail court April 29.
