In the latest case of garbage dumping on Crown land, a 75-year-old Levack man was fined $300 and told to clean up his mess.
The garbage was dumped in a remote area of Hart Township.
Garbage dumping on Crown land has been a problem for the Ministry of Natural Resources in Sudbury, as officers are continually investigating complaints.
