Dangerous drivers beware

Two off duty officers were traveling southbound towards Sudbury when the driver of a motor vehicle pulled up behind them at a high rate of speed on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at approximately 3:13 pm.

Two off duty officers were traveling southbound towards Sudbury when the driver of a motor vehicle pulled up behind them at a high rate of speed on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at approximately 3:13 pm.  He began driving erratically, honking his horn, following extremely close, weaving in his lane waving his fists, then changing lanes cutting a vehicle off and then cut in front of the two officers slamming his brakes on. 

Fifty two year old Sylvester Polifroni of Sudbury has been charged with the following offences:

One Count of Dangerous Driving contrary to the Criminal Code
Two Counts of Stunt Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

Polifroni received a seven day suspension of his licence and seven day vehicle impoundment pursuant to Section 172 of the Highway Traffic Act.
