A man has been charged with attempted murder in relation to a domestic assault on Kathleen Street April 24.
Hoa Chau, 54, also faces charges of forcible confinement and assault with a weapon.  He was scheduled to appear in court May 1.
Greater Sudbury Police had received a call about a domestic dispute, and officers found a young woman suffering from serious injuries at the scene.
Chau was also found suffering from serious injuries at the scene. Both the young woman and Chau have since been released from the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
