Police were not able to confirm the extent of the driver's injuries.

Greater Sudbury Police Staff Sgt. Peter Orsino said police responded to 27 collisions throughout Greater Sudbury, between Friday and Saturday afternoon. Most were due to poor road conditions after Friday night's snowstorm.

In addition to the driver injured at Paris and Van Horne, Orsino said there were two other collisions over the previous 24 hours that resulted in minor injuries.
