A 20-year-old Sudbury man is facing multiple charges after he drove his pickup truck into a private yard near Southview Drive at Kelly Lake Road April 3 at around 3 a.m.
The vehicle had already left by the time Greater Sudbury Police arrived. One of the tires on the vehicle had been blown out during the accident, but the man continued to drive with one of the wheels on its rim.
The vehicle and the suspect were located on Big Nickel Mine Road.
The man was charged with with operating a vehicle with more than 80 mg of alcohol per 100 mL of blood, dangerous driving, possession of marijuana and failing to remain at the scene of a crime.
The suspect was released from custody pending a hearing in May.
