Further allegations of sexual impropriety have led to the arrest of Father Bernard Cloutier, 66, of North Bay.
Bernard Cloutier has been charged with five counts each of indecent assault on a male, and gross indecency.
The charges involve three victims.
The incidents are alleged to have taken place in the 1970s while Bernard Cloutier was a parish priest in Chelmsford, and later in Espanola.
Bernard Cloutier and his legal counsel, attended the Greater Sudbury Police Service this morning.
He is scheduled to attend a bail hearing later today.
