Kevin Romansky According to Greater Sudbury Police, Kevin Romansky of Hanmer lost control of an off-road vehicle, was thrown from the machine, and suffered fatal injuries.

Romansky was transported to St. Joseph's Health Centre in Sudbury and pronounced dead.

Romansky is survived by his parents Wayne Romansky of Rawdon, Que., and Aurore Beaudry of Sudbury, his wife Christine Romansky and daughter Roxanne of Hanmer.

Romansky was the owner and operator of Northern Aviation Sevices and had a passion for the aviation industry.

According to his obituary, the focus of Romansky's life was his family.

Police say their investigation has so far revealed that Romansky was rounding a right-hand curve with four other riders on off-road vehicles when he lost control. Police were notified of the incident at 12:54 am.

The investigation is on-going and anyone with information is asked to contact the Greater Sudbury Police's traffic management unit.

The family will receive friends at the Co-Operative Funeral Home at 4570 St. Joseph St. in Hanmer today (Wednesday) from 2 to 5 pm and from 7 to 9:30 pm. A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 11 am at St. Jacques Church in Hanmer. Donation to the Roxanne Romansky Trust Fund would be appreciated.
