Firearm discharged in St. Charles

At 12:45 p.m. Aug. 25, Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to call about an alleged firearm being discharged on King Street in St. Charles.

At 12:45 p.m. Aug. 25, Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to call about an alleged firearm being discharged on King Street in St. Charles.

Officers from the Noelville and Warren OPP detachments closed traffic on King Street East upon arrival.

One man was apprehended, and was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for assessment.

Police are assuring the public that this is an isolated incident, and nobody is at risk.
