Four hurt after Val Caron accident

Several people were injured after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Municipal Road 80 and Valley View Road in Val Caron Sept. 2 at around 3 p.m.

The collision occurred between a car that was southbound on Municipal Road 80 and a vehicle attempting to turn northbound from Valley View Road onto Municipal Road 80.

Each vehicle had two people inside. All were transported from the scene by ambulance and taken to St. Joseph's Health Centre.

Three people were listed in stable condition with non life-threatening injuries as of Sept. 2. A fourth person was undergoing tests for undetermined injuries, although preliminary assessment indicated that these injuries are also non life-threatening.

Charges are anticipated in connection with the collision.
