Fugitive left scene of collision

An investigation into the collision between a Blazer and a Saturn on Oct. 27 has resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for Devin Charbonneau, 20, of Greater Sudbury. At about 3:45 p.m. on Oct.

An investigation into the collision between a Blazer and a Saturn on Oct. 27 has resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for Devin Charbonneau, 20, of Greater Sudbury.

At about 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 29, the collision between the two vehicles occurred at the intersection of Regent and Douglas Streets. The two drivers spoke briefly, before the driver of the Blazer returned to his vehicle and left the scene, without providing any information to the other driver.

The owner of the Blazer involved in the accident contacted police shortly past 5 p.m. the same day to report the vehicle stolen.

Charbonneau has been charged with failure to remain at the scene of an accident, public mischief, and various other charges under provincial statutes.

He is described as a white man, 5-10 tall, 150 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
