Greater Sudbury Police said to expect a heavy police presence in the area of Jean Street.
Police said in a tweet at 1:37 p.m. this afternoon that officers are at the scene in relation to a barricaded person.
"The public is asked to avoid the area," said police. "Please do not livestream officers or post live photos while officers are on scene as it places them and our community at risk."
