UPDATE: The Greater Sudbury Police Service advises traffic on Highway 69 is no longer being diverted following a house fire.
However, the area is still affected by road construction and drivers are asked to be vigilant and patient.
Highway 69 North and Donaldson Crescent is closed due to a house fire. Southbound traffic is being diverted to one of the northbound lanes. Northbound traffic is detoured via Donaldson. The Greater Sudbury Police Service is assisting the Sudbury Fire Department with the fire. There are no reported injuries and it is believed the house was vacant when the fire broke out. The cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.
Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and to drive with caution.
