A Sunday evening accident on The Kingsway near Argyle Street resulted in one driver being charged with impaired driving.
Around 6:10 p.m., a vehicle rear-ended another travelling in the same direction.
Officers were able to determine that the at fault driver was impaired by alcohol.
The driver was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, and operate a motor vehicle with more that 80 milligrams of alcohol per hundred milliliters of blood.
The driver was released pending an October court appearance.
