Intruder caught inside school early Saturday morning

A 33-year-old man was found inside Ecole Jean Ethier Blais on Lasalle Boulevard June 13 at around 4:44 a.m. after Greater Sudbury Police responded to an alarm going off in the school.

A 33-year-old man was found inside Ecole Jean Ethier Blais on Lasalle Boulevard June 13 at around 4:44 a.m. after Greater Sudbury Police responded to an alarm going off in the school.

The man told officers that he entered the school to use the washroom through an unlocked door. He was found to be in possession of property belonging to the school, and was arrested.

He is facing charges of break, enter and theft, breach of recognizance and possession of stolen property. He was due to appear in bail court June 15.
