Jaws of Life needed for two-vehicle collision

Police officers attended the intersection of Elm and Regent Streets to investigate a two-vehicle collision on Dec. 17 at 11 am.

The driver and the passenger in one vehicle suffered cuts and bruises and were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure while the driver in the second vehicle was not injured. 

Greater Sudbury Fire Services were also called to the scene as the Jaws of Life were required. 

The traffic was detoured for about an hour. 

The investigation continues and charges are pending.
