A 17-year-old girl armed with a knife was taken into police custody Sunday morning after assaulting and threatening a number of people at a Valley East residence.
Police were called to the residence around 11:38 a.m. No injuries resulted. However, the girl was charged with two counts of assault, two counts of utter threats and possess a dangerous weapon.
The offender was held for bail. Her identity cannot be released due to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
