The teen found guilty in the brutal death of 25-year-old
Lindsay Lemieux has been given the maximum sentence under the
Youth Criminal Justice Act. He will spend the next four years
in a youth facility receiving intensive, rehabillitation,
counselling and supervision. Followed by three years of
community supervision.
The boy was 14 when he stabbed the young nurse more than 80
times in her Val Caron home on Nov. 10, 2007. Her family was
hoping the now 16-year-old would receive an adult sentence.
