Since January 2003, Greater Sudbury Transit has endured over $50,000 worth of vandalism to glass bus shelters throughout the region. The cost to repair shattered glass at each shelter is in excess of $600.

Since January 2003, Greater Sudbury Transit has endured over $50,000 worth of vandalism to glass bus shelters throughout the region.

The cost to repair shattered glass at each shelter is in excess of $600. Residents, especially children, face a potential risk of being hurt by loose and broken glass, say police.

Anyone observing vandalism is asked to phone police at 675 9171 or Crime Stoppers at 675 TIPS.
